I just listened to a podcast by Dr. Attia that went over multiple studies showing a reduction in risk using statins. It's podcast #251. Have you tried statins again or taken another route?

Re: Unexpectedly found out I am a double APOE4
[/quote]Looking forward I feel glad now that I know and can make changes to my life. I feel sad for my parents who are in their late 60’s & they must each be a carrier of at least one E4. They are not terribly unhealthy but they are also not very healthy. I won’t share this news with them becaus...

Re: Who's going to the free Drs Summit on Reversing Alzheimer's?
I bought the series. So, I already have it. It was very reasonably priced and I get to keep it to review as needed. I started with Julie G's interview and she hit it out of the park. She is such an amazing advocate!

Re: MitoQ & supplements
floramaria and TheBrain, Thank you both for responding. I did speak to my Dr about it and she believes it is one of the best things she prescribes and takes it herself. She did ask me to forward her the study ... which made me happy that she is willing to assess her recommendations as needed. I neve...

MitoQ & supplements
Does anyone have any current feedback on MitoQ? I have very recently (about 3.5 months ago) learned of my 4/4 status. I've realized I know nothing... or very little about all the pieces to the health puzzle. I thought I was the healthiest person I knew until I got my blood test back. I found a funct...

Re: My version of a Ketogenic Diet
Hi, Julie. I'm new here. I found out recently I'm 4/4. I'm wondering if your outlined diet on this thread has changed significantly since this post? I am having a hard time getting enough calories in 2 meals to sustain workouts without losing weight. I'm averaging about 1300 cals (and forcing mysel...
