Re: I am panicking and don't know what to do
I just did a medical DNA test and I scored CT on rs429358, as well as TC on rs669. The test I did told me I had a 6.6x increased likelihood of Alzheimers versus the average person. I'm 27 years old. Is there any kind of treatment I can seek for this or preventative measures I can take? I honestly d...

Re: Announcing a Personalized Precision Medicine Clinical Trial to Reverse Dementia
Where can I get testing done privately? For blood tests, there is a list of companies where you can order labs from Quest and Labcorp. New Century is usually the cheapest, but not always. They only work with Quest. There are a couple of states that don't allow you order through these companies. I d...

Re: APOE 4/4 - Dizziness that won't go away
Any chance your doctors would refer you for an MRI to rule out causes that might not show up on a CT scan? I'm not a neurologist, so can't really speak to what those would be, but edema that some people experience in anti-amyloid clinical trials has been shown to cause dizziness and appears as an &...

Re: New member
Her mom had dementia which we figured was Alzheimer’s. My mom has since been afraid the same was going to happen to her—which of course it has. She started noticing her memory difficulties at about the age of 62 I think, I noticed when she was about 64. She’s now 75. She also has had HTN for years....

Re: APOE 4/4 - Dizziness that won't go away
I suddenly started experiencing dizziness about six months ago. My doctors have ruled everything out from a blood clot in my brain (two CTs scans with and without contrast) to eye problems to inner ear issues. The current tentative diagnosis is meniere's disease, but I don't have the symptoms I rea...

Re: Fiji water (silica rich water) - Reversal of Alzheimer's
I’m not even sure who I’m responding to but I’m trying to respond to Laurie. I was told to hit an icon but I’m not sure what that is. Is it one of the smiley faces? I know I sound stupid but I’ve been tested by a neurologist and I do not have Alzheimer’s yet. I even asked my very intelligent husban...

Re: Dr. Richard Isaacson
I saw him at the Weill Cornell Alzheimer's prevention clinic for 5 years (I was one of the subjects in one of the studies he published!) I'm wondering if you (or anyone else) would be able to share documentation for the interventions he developed for you. For example, dietary recommendations, and e...
