Re: Hello! New to the group
Mike I found my results from the last time this was pulled. My A1C was 4.8 in July/2022 my glucose was 87, but my insulin was 7. The insulin was above the target range in Dr Bredesen book. His target is 3-5. I have improved my diet even more since I found this site on Aug 7th. My one sugary snack i...

Re: HRT: Research That Estradiol is Neuro Protective
I need some help. My super power is NOT reading and finding medical research papers. :o I need to send my doctor information on why I would like to start estradiol. My labs dating back to 2020 show my estradiol as very low, but she only put me on bio identical progesterone. My last lab tests August...

Re: Celebration Thread! Biogen is going to the FDA with Aducan.
Thank you for pointing out the Lecanemab Symposium NF_52! This is great! I had seen it in the program at a glance, though the implication of the word Symposium was somewhat lost on me. The Leca presentations will look at the long-term follow up to Clarity. This will add at least some level of drama...

Re: Tramiprosate: a silver bullet for 4/4 carriers?
Is there any talk of doing a trial with pre-symptomatic 4/4s yet? I spoke with an Alzheon rep at the AAIC conference in Amsterdam about the enthusiasm for a prevention trial for ApoE 4/4s and he seemed to indicate it's coming. (They never want to get ahead of their skis on trials!) It's on the webs...

Re: Celebration Thread! Biogen is going to the FDA with Aducan.
Big news everyone! CTAD 2023 is all ready to go for late October. I suppose timing wise San Francisco is more late fall in early December, and Boston is more late fall in early November and more early sub-arctic by early December. ... I was surprised to see how little presence Lecanemab will have a...

Re: Dr. Richard Isaacson
Hello - new to the group. Does anyone know where Dr Richard Isaacson is practicing? I thought he had joined Florida Atlantic but when I search for him, it seems he’s no longer there. Thanks! This is my first time posting as well but I saw this post and was interested because I am also looking for D...

Re: Has anyone else gotten the new Abeta 42/40 test?
Thank you for the detailed and interesting response, @NF52! I have an update. I started screening for the AHEAD trial, and failed out at the very first step. They said my Preclivity test (which tests for beta-amyloid in the blood and tau) showed little to no amyloid in my blood. This is in direct c...

Re: Neuropsych Testing, Results and Bredesen Protocol
Hello. I hope that I'm posting this in the right place. I'm not very experienced with the site yet and have had some difficulty navigating it at times, probably due to my cognitive issues. My question regards neuro-psych testing. I'm wondering whether anyone who has had this battery of tests (3-5 h...
