Re: WARNING re. Aricept (Donepezil)

Greetings everyone, my sister Sally was diagnosed with unspecified dementia. Almost certainly Alzheimer's as our mom had it. Sally is 72. Her memory is deteriorating pretty darn quick. Our primary doctor recently prescribed Aricept for her and from what I'm reading, I can confidently say I'm on the...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

I forgot to include an important part of the instructions for you to receive your 2 CSV files - when you send back your next test kit to Prodrome, please write "APOE4 Project" at the top of the Test Requisition Form. This will alert Prodrome to send the 2 CSV files. Sorry about the delay ...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

Floramaria, I heard from Prodrome - when you receive your next set of results from Prodrome, they will send the CSV files for both blood draw kits you submitted - the original and this 2nd kit. (You should receive 3 attachments from Prodrome at that time - Prodrome's detailed results for your 2nd k...

Re: Dr that doesn't believe me

I have to say, I think Dr. Bredesen's statement in the book may be misinterpreted easily. Statins can increase the likelihood of cognitive decline. 87 Hi circular, Thanks for the deeper dive. I agree with you about the difficulty of accessing footnotes. They are not included in the print version of...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

Hi Floramaria, Thanks for your question - I have reached out to Prodrome to ask if your results can be sent in CSV form in addition to their standard results report, so that we can easily include your results to our data set. I asked if Prodrome can send your original results in CSV form as well, f...

Re: Is there a TMAO / Atherosclerosis risk with supplemental choline / carnitine?

is there a reason no one is talking about taking phosphatidyl choline instead of all the other forms ? I haven't seen this mentioned Hi adriana268, I take PC regularly. As SusanJ mentioned in the post above mine, the link she provided will take you to many posts discussing the merits of phosphatidy...

If anyone sees some similarities with anything that I've written or can provide some information, I'd love to hear from you. Hello. Roque! Welcome to the ApoE4.Info community! You have already gotten some great information from CindyM. I also encourage you to read the primer, as she suggested, to g...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

To summarize, we have a bit of data, and we are working to incorporate it into a portal so we all can view the anonymized results. We would love to have more data, and we know that some of you have been eager to begin. Hi Julie G, I did the ProdromeScan several months ago and have been taking Prodr...
