Re: Potentially falsified Amyloid B research

I was fine — annoyed that it took mainstream media this long to pay attention to the failure of the amyloid plaque model — but really just glad that someone was paying attention at all — and then I read this article aloud to my husband and surprised myself by getting choked up. My mother died of Alz...

Interesting. Thanks for sharing, Laurie. "Conclusion: High-dose aluminum exposure can lead to elevated blood glucose and insulin resistance through the regulation of insulin receptor protein levels" https://www.dustri.com/article_response_page.html?artId=17555&doi=10.5414/TEX01539&...

Re: Aluminum as a causal factor of Alzheimer's - Introduction of myself to the community

…one of my friends said my lifestyle was "6 Sigma" (i.e. six standard deviations above the average). Hence I do a laundry list of lifestyle factors and can't point to any one action as being useful (then the interviewer wanted me to elaborate, which I did). I am cognitively well. I’m in t...

Re: Using neuroprotective adjuvants in general anesthesia

I also highly recommend that after any surgery you print the clincal notes from your portal, or request them, for your own safekeeping. Include some notes about how it worked and/or didn't work while you're still clear about it. At my portal the records were no longer available but I still had them...

Re: Introduction and Help With ApoE4 Diet

I haven't posted here for a while. Been dealing with a lot of stress and poor sleep. I’m so sorry for a difficult season, and I hope you’re finding your way. It seems like you know you’d like to flex your diet to something more sustainable, but I wonder if exercising a tight control over what you e...

Hi Circular…I’ve been thinking about you the past few days, wondering if you’ve been in for surgery yet & how you’re doing? I hope all is well. Happy Valentine’s Day!
