This was her answer......
typically estrogen cream is used independently of progresterone. It is only supposed to be used 3 times per week or less to help symptoms. oral estrogen is different, that is the one that we need to use with the progesterone for someone with a uterus

She is an APNP I just started seeing her 3 weeks ago. She has Functional Medicine training, and the 1st visit did blood test...all came back great except for my lipids.....now she changed her tune and won't prescribe progesterone. My old FM doc is 4 hours away. I live in Wisconsin.... not very many ...

My new practitioner emailed me......I am unable to order the progesterone for dementia protection. At this time, it is not an FDA regulated resason for the medication and I would not be protected if anything went wrong with you taking the progesterone. There is a strong warning against using progest...

Yes, great information. Looking forward to the new study that will hopefully include APOE4. I had just received my test results for myDNAage I'm 61 and 10 months and my test results says my biological is 63. I'm 4/4 with Bad MTHFR genes...have some work to do.
