Re: Moving a loved one and re-homing a pet

My brother-in-law has recently passed, and my sister-in-law can not live on her own. I don't have anything of substance to add, but wanted you to know that I care. I also know that you're an amazing sister-in-law and am sending good energy to you and the whole family as you sort through this crisis...

Re: Introduction and Help With ApoE4 Diet

I do not want to start disease in my coronary arteries, but I really do not like the ApoE4 foods. My triglyceride to HDL ratio as of my most recent lipid panel is 1.9, which means that I am insulin resistant and have pattern B LDL, so I should keep my cholesterol and LDL low. Hi Sabby! Overall, you...

Re: European Drug Regulation Advisors Recommend Against Approving Aduhelm in E.U.

You can read a bit more about the Aduhelm associated death here: https://endpts.com/rbc-analyst-reports-aducanumab-case-file-points-to-the-controversial-alzheimers-drug-as-a-likely-cause-of-patient-death/ The FDA tells Endpoints News today that it’s aware of the death of a patient taking Biogen’s co...

Re: European Drug Regulation Advisors Recommend Against Approving Aduhelm in E.U.

It's surprising that they only reference cost as their rationale for not recommending. Given the recent death associated with Aduhelm side effects, it seems like patient safety would have also played a part in their decision making. One patient death after treatment with Aduhelm was reported to the ...

Re: an E4/E4 brain CAN recover

Soooo, as someone who was just diagnosed with a mild concussion today and freaking out about it due to being a 3/4, reading this brought me tremendous relief. Sending virtual hugs, my friend. It's awful knowing you're an E4 and then sustaining a brain injury, but Stavia's post is VERY hopeful. My E...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

Julie, in the first post, you put in some links under point 3 that seem to provide 40% off to participants... https://prodrome.com/product/apoe4-rese ... lood-test/ https://prodrome.com/product/apoe4-rese ... up-bundle/ Is that not still available? And are you suggesting that we get the $1,300 bund...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

Friends, we have a few updates to add to our announcement regarding the launch of our metabolomic project, MOD4 (metabolomics, open-access, dataset for ApoE4.info). There were four grey areas that we have clarified with Prodrome and share with you here, to facilitate your participation in the projec...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

Both of my parents (my mom is 3/4) have had two rounds of Prodrome Scan testing and supplements. I understand that all they need to do to participate in the project is to alert Prodrome to send all their test results next time they get a scan? Or maybe just Mom, as Dad is a 3/3. Over the last coupl...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

I have also had my first Prodrome Scan and would like to participate in MOD4. Is there a sign up process or do I just send my CVS file to the MOD4 email when I am next tested. Also, do I have to be taking ALL of Dr. Goodenowe's recommended supplements or is okay to just be on Prodrome Neuro and sup...

Re: Soft Launch of Our Metabolomic Project

I'm new here. I have been in serious cognitive decline for several years now. After doing research and going down the rabbit hole, I found I could look at my 23andMe testing, which I had done a few years ago, and unfortunately found I'm EpoE4/4. After reading this thread I tried to order the testin...
