Re: Sleep maintenance issues. Am I doomed?

Please guide me on what to do I'm so scared these 2 weeks will age me. Three days every week I sleep 8hrs or more with ONLY seroquel cause I don't have to wake up for work and it's no problem at all staying asleep. Sleep IS important. One thing our welcome intern didn't point out is that our organi...

Book: Doctored: Fraud, Arrogance, and Tragedy in the Quest to Cure Alzheimer's

I thought I'd inform on a book that may be of interest to some. This Tuesday, February 4th, the book, Doctored: Fraud, Arrogance, and Tragedy in the Quest to Cure Alzheimer's by Charles Piller will be released. Charles Piller is an investigative journalist for Science magazine. Doctored.jpg Some may...

Re: Barley Tea?

Because it tastes good. I'm not supposed to drink black tea because there's fermentation in the process and I'm very allergic to mold. I'm allowed green tea, but no fruit teas. But I don't actually like the taste of green tea. I like fruit teas, which I'm allergic to. But I have to drink SOMETHING....

Re: Barley Tea?

I drink it often, but I don't have any sensitivities so I don't know if it's negatively affecting anything. You don't have to test positive for celiac disease to experience negative issues from gluten. Gluten activates zonulin and that loosens the tight junctions of the gut thus increasing "le...

Re: whey(t) a minute! whey's ok?

Also, I'm not sure how animal protein prevents falls. I understand that's dependent on balance (which can be improved with certain exercises) and toe/foot strength (also exercise dependent) Yes sorry, I just mean exercise+animal protein in effort to boost lean muscle mass.... maybe it is case-by-ca...

Re: whey(t) a minute! whey's ok?

Anyone have any updated thoughts on this? Seems a lot of online gurus are pushing for more protein as it seems a lot of the latest research suggests we could use more as a general population. Furthermore I am wondering if the ability to add muscle might be the one area where an exception can be mad...

Re: A Little Treat

I'm reading the main book, and haven't gotten to my doctor yet, but I'm trying to get myself to start adhering to the diet, so I can start damage reduction at least. The problem is there's nothing on the diet I really enjoy eating. I know that to stick to something you have to build in rewards or y...
