Any others on this board interested in this? We've had some discussion in the past. Here is the thread: https://forums.apo...

Study shows people with a high omega-3 DHA level in their blood are at 49% lower risk of Alzheimer's

And yes, it helps E4s. Further, the researchers noted that an increased intake of DHA might lower risk for developing AD, particularly in higher-risk individuals such as those carrying the APOE-ε4 allele, suggesting that they may benefit more from higher DHA levels than non-carriers. ...he comments that under Test Section 8 Methyltransferase/Choline System if you have a high amount of 8A Total Phosphatidlethanolamines, and a low amount of 8B Total Phosphatidylcholine then that is an indication of Fatty Liver Disease. So I have this pattern on my test. And the Health Coach said ...

Re: Very bad sleep issues

These last few nights I have noticed it’s actually my speeding heart that wakes me up and then I get my anxious thoughts. Just curious, have you ruled out insulin resistance? IR can get worse at menopause. Your body puts out cortisol if your glucose levels drop too low, and can wake you in the midd...

Re: Apoe4 Gundry List of Foods

Yes, I had read studies like this, so between the morning preferred time and Gundry's or Bredesen's "putting off breakfast until later" and 16 hour fasting window, I most often eat first at 11AM and second done by 6 or 7PM. You might still look at sliding still earlier. Like say start at ...

Re: Apoe4 Gundry List of Foods

Jan, what time of day are you eating? There are studies that suggest that sliding your eating window to the morning, along with more calories in the morning, matches up better with our circadian clocks with regards to energy metabolism. Here's one of the studies. High Caloric Intake at Breakfast vs....

More interesting findings on heat shock proteins. Here's the summary. The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is a membrane structure found in mammalian cells. It carries out a number of important functions, including the synthesis, folding, modification and transport of proteins needed on the surface or out...

Re: Master class on insulin resistance

Here's a study I've bookmarked that is a good start for the details. Early Time-Restricted Feeding Improves 24-Hour Glucose Levels and Affects Markers of the Circadian Clock, Aging, and Autophagy in Humans (2019) Collectively, our data suggest that eTRF improves several facets of health through both...
