Re: Moving a loved one and re-homing a pet

My brother-in-law's grandnephew and his wife are willing to take Charlie, so that part is fairly straightforward. Known quantities all around. It's just dealing with "I'm staying in Florida with Charlie" that we hear most every day. She suspects we are planning to move her to Colorado. Wh...

Re: Hack for falling back asleep in middle of the night

My advice would be to pick a word that doesn't repeat a letter, so instead of "bedtime", I use "daisy" because if you run out of "E" words while working through "bedtime", the second "E" can be annoying. ;) And have a spare word in mind in case you ...

Re: COVID-19 RNA Based Vaccines and the Risk of Prion Disease

I understand, Nords. I, too, like to do my due diligence and confirm or deny claims. I can't speak directly to Dr. Merritt's claim because she didn't give details. But just to get a sense of the Twitter censorship going on, I did a search at DuckDuckGo.com with the search term: twitter censorship o...

Re: COVID-19 RNA Based Vaccines and the Risk of Prion Disease

She said that Twitter won't allow users to use the word "experimental" in reference to the vaccines, as in the "experimental Moderna vaccine." Why is that censored? There's no First Amendment rights for customers on social media, but in over a decade as a blogger I've never ever...

Re: Lack of awareness she has memory loss

Hi, I’m new to this group. I live in the UK. My mum has severe memory loss. Her own mother had Alzheimer’s. I suspect my mum has one or two copies of the APOE4 gene, and is rapidly developing Alzheimer’s. However she has no awareness of her memory loss or her increasingly aggressive and erratic beh...

I have to admit that I'm getting a bit cynical about these alarmist conclusions with peer-reviewed appeals for additional funds to support the author's continued investigation.

Re: Aducanumab-FDA approval

"The capital gains would all go to paying for the treatments and the cost of checking for side effects." Nords, do you really believe that the Biogen corporate capital gains will be used for patient treatments? It’s a joking response to your “great day” remark, speculating that retail inv...
