Re: Prodrome blood test results, initial and over time

I am wondering why this might be. Let us know what your learn. I’ve been taking Prodrome Neuro for five months so far and have not yet tested to see where I stand. Admittedly I haven’t felt a difference since taking it so it is being performed as a kind of blind faith, having watched his videos, in...

Re: Considering statin for high CRP amidst good cardio labs

Hi, circ If my understanding is correct, ubiquinol and ubiquinone are two forms of CoQ10. I’ve used the ubíquinol form because is was recommended for me by a neurologist. I’ve read that it is more bioavailable. Just did a quick search and found this: As the active form, ubiquinol has more electrons...

Re: Prodrome blood test results, initial and over time

On my second ProdromeScan, most of my biomarkers… including for plasmalogens… were worse after my year and a half of taking ProdromeNeuro, ProdromeGlia, and GTA. I was shocked!! I’ll be very interested to see what Dr Goodenowe has to say about this and what he recommends for me going forward. With ...

Re: Considering statin for high CRP amidst good cardio labs

Hi kiksuyapi, I'm sorry I haven't looked into it. My CRP came in normal. My hsCRP continues to be mildly elevated. Under those circumstances my doctor didn't see a need for a statin, and since I had a lot of other things going on, I haven't looked into whether she's probably correct. See boron in t...

Re: You CAN Turn Back Time

Has anyone seen the recent study published by Kara Fitzgerald, MD and team demonstrating a reverse of biological age — Potential reversal of epigenetic age using a diet and lifestyle intervention: a pilot randomized clinical trial? I listened to Dr. Rhonda Patrick's podcast episode released yesterd...

Re: Considering statin for high CRP amidst good cardio labs

On the more concerning side, I heard that statins cause insulin resistance. I haven't yet looked into this. Do all forms do this? Is it inevitable based on their mechanism of action, or does it depend on the patient? I'll have to see if I can learn more. I definately don't want insulin resistance. ...

Thanks for the advice re cookies, Circular! You're welcome. Another tip that didn't work in this case … If you use a VPN, you can set it to connect to a server in Europe. I've found that many websites use the GDPR compliant opt-in settings if the internet address shows the traffic is from Europe bu...

Re: More questions about diet

In the meantime, I will try what you suggest and measure blood glucose before each meal. I will too. Since I've been increasing my carbs for other reasons, I've started testing glucose after meals to see how I respond to various foods and food combinations. Two hours after a breakfast of coffee, tw...
