Re: Thank you all
Hello Mr. Greenjeans, I have no solution to the issue. I am posting just to let you know that you are not the only one with this concern. After a year trying to make the food plan work, I concluded that I could not do this part of the plan until I get older and my metabolism slows down. I am 58. I w...

Re: sleeping a lot
I have a follow up question to my OP comment regarding the keto diet. I have read the wiki page https://wiki.apoe4.info/wiki/Coconut_Oil,_MCT_oil,_and_other_Ketone/Cognition_Boosters_(salts,_esters) I laughed when I read this: So what does adding ketones do to a body when the body senses that it alr...

Re: sleeping a lot
Here's a summary of a 2019 article about research on this issue, which includes long periods of sleep NF52, thanks for the very insightful reply. I've been reading about the disease for quite a few years now and did not know of this. I will follow up both about this larger issue and the UTI possibi...

sleeping a lot
Hi everyone, I have already posted on a few topics. I've been here and doing the program for prevention for about a year. I've made a lot of changes to my routines and am committed, except for the diet. After a year's worth of experiments, I am too thin and tired of thinking about it. Honestly, it f...

Re: Cost of Bredesen Protocol Supplements
Andy, your first paragraph has no factual basis in the law. You have created a definition of OTC medication that does not exist as a definition in the tax law. The laughable example is the focus of the law on menstrual care products. These are part of OTC medical products that are now reimbursable. ...

Re: Cost of Bredesen Protocol Supplements
If supplements require a prescription in order to be reimbursed, then what was the point of deleting the sentence that required a prescription for reimbursement? Perhaps this issue is not being discussed in the professional publications because there is no controversy. I am comfortable with my readi...

Re: Cost of Bredesen Protocol Supplements
The restriction on non-prescribed OTCs did not always exist. I think it came to be with the ACA. Yes, the CARES Act most certainly did make that change, and I provided the language in the post above. The sentence restricting OTCs to prescribed items was deleted by the CARES Act. This has been an ite...

Re: Cost of Bredesen Protocol Supplements
Sorry for all the detailed technical stuff. I can't be perceived as providing tax advice in this sort of situation, so I want to provide you with the clues.

Re: Cost of Bredesen Protocol Supplements
You might want to touch base with your tax expert. This program is expensive; leave no stone unturned in your search for a tax benefit. CARES Act, Sec. 3702, inclusion of certain OTC medical products as qualified medical expenses, made changes. Note first that it says that a sentence has been remove...

Re: Tick bite, tested positive for Lyme
Hi Andy, My family has been dealing with Lyme & Co for about 15 years. I don't think the lyme-literate docs rely upon the Western Blot. In the Lyme community, it is thought to be pretty useless because of its high false negatives. IGeneX is thought to be much more accurate. I don't remember if I...
