Re: Frustrated over finances

I also can't afford the Recode and find it very wrong that there's an "entrance fee" for even just getting a list of the practitioners. Healthcare and health prevention should not be the privilege of a few and I think it's wrong that Dale Bredesen has set it up as information for the elite...

Re: Karin Michels talk on nutrition "errors"

Brian, I am interested in buying quality nuts. In addition to shelf life, another reason is that I've learned recently that Roundup glyphosate in almonds is a problem in north America. Hi all,

Perhaps you are aware of this site already, but it lists how much money a doctor gets from pharmaceutical companies. You can search your own doctor: https://openpaymentsdata.cms.gov/

Re: Karin Michels talk on nutrition "errors"

Thanks Brian! I didn't know her. I agree that most of us are already aware of the points that she raise. But I am glad she is raising them. To summarize: Bad: Coconut oil, red meat, carbonated water, brown and white sugar, and paleo diet. Good: Coffee and nuts (but especially walnuts for omega 3) Eg...

Re: Newbie - with cholesterol numbers

Hi Portable! Your diet sounds a lot like mine! (including wild caught sardines at times but otherwise plant-based and following Gregor's Daily Dozen and red wine once in a great while). My glucose was hovering around 97 last I checked, but my fasting insulin was 3 and A1C 4.8, both of which are good...
