Re: HDL helps clear beta-amyloid
Hi Susan, I use the Lauricidin brand, which you take by the scoop. I started out very slowly, just a few pellets and slowly increased the dosage over time to two scoops (this was the company's recommendation). I may not need that much, the serving size is shown to be just one scoop, but my research ...

Re: HDL helps clear beta-amyloid
Aphorist, Trying to get a grasp on this, but I have wondered if Lysine is a supplement that most Apoe4's should be on. I really struggled with repeated viral infections for years, until I started myself on a morning regimen of Monolaurin (lauric acid), supposed to boost the immune system, Lysine (10...

Re: An opportunity to work with a health coach
Thank you so much for posting this, I think I need some extra help with all of this. Doing pretty well lately except for the sleep issues and the hormonal transition of perimenopause / menopause. I'm seeing Dr. Pam Smith (from the Awakening series) on Monday (mentioned on a previous post), really ho...

Re: AWAKENING FROM ALZHEIMER'S - THE AWAKENING BEGINS.
I have only posted a few times here, but with regards to this series, I found it interesting, but agree with Stavia that Bredesen could have done the whole show. However, that being said, I've been hoping to find a doctor that could help me navigate through this end of perimenopause, transitioning i...

Re: Dr Bredesen
Thanks so much! Very much appreciated! My mother is 78 this month, and though she is doing pretty well, her memory is getting a little shaky. I was hoping to get her to see Dr. Bredesen for an initial consultation, but maybe we can find a certified provider closer to home.
Thanks again
Thanks again

Dr Bredesen
Hello all,
Does anyone know if Dr. Bredesen takes patients? It sounds like Dr. Gundry does.
Any information is appreciated!

Re: Data supports 'Robust' cognitive improvement for mild to moderate AD patients
The supplement Benfotiamine supposedly protects the body from advanced glycation end products, Life Extension had this to say: Numerous studies have shown that benfotiamine inhibits three major pathways that lead to the formation of toxic substances such as advanced glycation end products (AGEs). So...

Re: Omega-3 Index-Know your level!
Hi Susan, Pretty much! I was surprised to find from this study that the mercury from fish had no bearing on cognitive decline, but consistently eating fish (and not even necessarily the highest grade of fish ) every week protected against decline, but only in Apoe4 carriers! What an interesting and ...
