From today's chat, I've posted about Wim Hof breathing & Dr. Coca's pulse before.

A search on my Wim posts.

A search on my posts on using Dr. Coca's technique.

This post talks about both & includes a link to Coca's book.

Anotherpost with both.

Coca's 1956 book.

Wim Hof guided breathing several choices

Other Choices https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +breathing
Website https://www.wimhofmethod.com/
Book https://www.amazon.com/Wim-Hof-Method-A ... 353&sr=8-2
Author Scott Carney went to expose Wim as a fraud and found out his methods work. Here is his book. Scott also helped an autoimmune issue with Wim's Breathing & has probably been doing it for ~8-9 years.
An overview article Scott wrote.

James Nestor's book Breath was mentioned (I loved it).

Patrick McKeown's book The Breathing Cure probably one of the most exhaustive books on breathing techniques. Patrick's website.

A T1 diabetic has a great site on breathing. He puts out a weekly newsletter (signup). He found that certain breathing techniques, especially slow nasal breathing can improve his glucose control. He's a trained breathing instructor and also is a PhD scientist, so his work is science based.

Questions? Quote a part of this so I see it & I'll answer here. I did take Wim's class and have played with various breathing techniques fo a while.

I wasn' t able to stay for the full time but I think it would be nice if we could talk more about meditation and things like yoga. So much of our time is taken up with supplements and material answers for our problems. .. I would like to talk more about how we relate to our emotional and spiritual path...this is what has made the most difference for me in my journey to living healthfully.

Good to see so many of you on Zoom today!

Here are some more notes from our conversation today (may be some overlap with Tincup's links):
Pendulum is the name of the company that makes a probiotic with Akkermansia Mucinafilia.

Good idea rrmolo. Looking forward to hearing more from you on this topic next time. (And from others too!)
