Gundry is a proponent of heavy use of EVOO. You can't listen to an interview with him without hearing him say the purpose of food is to get olive oil into your mouth. As far as grapeseed goes I believe he recommends grapeseed extract in pill form, however I have never taken it so I don't want to say too much on this topic. I will let others with more info chime in on this topic.Berri wrote:Hi, Julie,Julie G wrote:A top notch heart surgeon actually spends THREE minutes discussing diet recommendations for E4s. A must listen. The E4 info starts at the 30 min. mark although the entire podcast was fascinating and sets a contextual background:

I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Super interesting but didn't you say that if someone is selling something, turn it off? Gundry sells various pills. Also, somewhere in the forums, I read that I shouldn't take EVOO but take avocado oil. Not sure where I read it but someone said not to take grapeseed oil but Gundry like it. I'm even more confused.
Yes, Gundry is selling all sorts of supplements. I do not use any of his supplements. He has always recommended Kirkland brand EVOO and even it he owns Costco stock I'm not sure he'd gain much from the liter or so of EVOO I consume per week. I fully understand why people are skeptical regarding him selling supplements, all I can say is I haven't bought a single supplement from him however I have bought his books and I think there is a lot of great knowledge to be gained by reading his books and watching his video podcasts on you tube.
