New - Intro - Prodome - Research trials

Post by Ange E »

Hello, my name is Ange E. I am from South Australia. I have been recovering well for the last eight months from an amyloid-related stroke and vasculitis. I have e/e allelle. I am following the Bredesen protocol. I am so grateful to be part of this amazing community. I am excited to hear of Dr Goodenowe and the plasmalogen breakthrough. Hopeful there is a way I can access the Prodrome and bloodtests. Also I am very keen to be involved in any research trial.

Hello edwards260 and Welcome!

Did you attend the Dr. Goodenowe webinar on July 2nd? We'd love to know your thoughts on the presentation.

Since you are new to the APOe4 website, a very helpful tool located in the Wiki here is full of tips and tricks to help you get the most out of the wealth of information contained here.

When you get a moment, we'd love to hear more about your story, your stroke recovery journey, and any involvement in the plasmalogen trials if you are involved in the Our Stories forum.

Is it possible to purchase high grade plasmalogen for consumers?

Hi Ange E!

The doctor I work for just started a trial of plasmalogens on himself and one of his patients that has alzheimers. We're very new to using it, but excited about its potential! I will definitely keep this forum updated with our findings.

Hello Ashley,

Welcome to the Apoe4.info site and thank you for sharing the info about the plasmalogen trial. Great to see you are an FM Health Coach! :D I'm looking forward to your updates with the trial!

Since this is your first post, I'd like to point out a few areas that might be useful as you navigate the site.
"How-to" section on the Wiki page The "How -to" section offers handy tips for navigating through the site. It includes info on how to post new topics, reply to posts, follow a topic in the forum, using the quotation mark button (located to the right of the post topic) when replying to a post and more. The Primer The Primer is an introduction to all things Apoe4, including biochemistry and possible prevention strategies.

Great to have you here, Ashley!

I have tried the Prodrome store, but it seems to require some kind of registration via a doctor. Or has anyone actually managed to buy it from them?

I bought it through a now closed Indiegogo campaign, perhaps call them?
