Of course, the data was gender specific but the female dataset was much larger.
Peter Attia's Studying Studies series taught me that food frequency questionnaires can be very unreliable. He also taught me that when the OR (odds ratio) range crosses 1 that the result is not statistically significant. Most of the men's results are in this category. This is likely because the study is underpowered (not enough subjects) for the question they are asking.
