Red Light Therapy increases ATP

Post by Maria4/4 »

Hello everyone,

I found something that could be really interesting. Red Light Therapy increases ATP.

Could this be good therapy to prevent AD? ;)

I read on a blog post that a small study has been made with people with AD/dementia and obtained good results, but I can't find the study.

This study is very interesting and proves that ATP is increased with the therapy: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27508880/
"In this work we present influence of visible laser light on ATP level and viability of anaemic red blood cell (RBC). The visible laser lights used in this work are 460nm and 532nm. The responses of ATP level in anaemic and normal RBC before and after laser irradiation at different exposure time (30, 40, 50 and 60s) were observed. [...] The results revealed laser irradiation improve level of ATP in anaemic RBC.

List of studies on pubmed about this theme:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=Red+light+atp

I have to confess that I am really impressed with what I read and want to try it.

Did you try it? What are the results?

Thanks,

We had this thread where people have shared their experiences:

More ATP is helpful, but the bigger picture is taking care of your mitochondria. https://wiki.apoe4.info/wiki/Mitochondria
